Early Bloomers

I am enjoying all the beauty of the early spring blooms. The leaders of the pack, who race out , without a doubt, each year in StL, to show us that sun and warmer weather are back in town.  Even the pesky old dandelions, as weedy as they are, have some beauty, and just want to stay ahead of the game. We have a robin that builds a nest somewhere in our yard each year, usually just out of viewing sight, this year, she chose a nw location.  I have a trellis that holds flower pots.  While cleaning up the back yard this spring, I had dumped the dirt out of one of the trellis pots.  Within a couple days, before I could replace the dirt, a robin came along, and laid claim to the pot, she made a nice home for her 4 beautiful blue eggs to keep warm.  Her nest is now at eye level, so I am looking forward to being able to watch the progress daily. Enjoy your spring, some of these early tree blooms don't last long, they will soon be gone for another year, take today, and the rest of this week , with this amazing weather in StL,  to enjoy the beauty of spring.  To take in your surroundings, to notice the beauty, color,  and detail surrounding you. When you hear that annoying bee buzz by your ear, know that spring is here, and nature is hard at work, taking care of the little things that we often overlook. Enjoy the beauty in your world today!
