Petal Works

Original, is a color photograph of a dahlia.  Once mirrored, the petal shapes create their own assymetrical shapes and lines . The black bacground adds another dimension to the layers.  This digital image was aged, creating an antique feel, and the color enhanced to create levels of shadows.  The finsihed piece works vertical or horizontal.
